About the CASA Annual Conference
The CASA Annual Conference is California’s premier, 3-day event for ambulatory surgery center professionals, bringing together industry leaders, clinicians, physicians, and innovators for unmatched education, networking, and collaboration. Attendees gain practical strategies, fresh perspectives, and actionable solutions to help their organizations thrive in an evolving healthcare environment.
PRESENTATIONS should address regulatory updates, new concepts and innovative technologies, and strategic tools and solutions that affect the clinical, business, staff, and physician sides of ambulatory surgery centers. CASA highly values Administrators, DONs, and Physicians from ASCs as speakers and session participants.
We accept proposals year-round. To be considered for the 2027 annual meeting, submit by February 1. Proposals received after that date stay on file for future events.
PRESENTATION OPPORTUNITIES
General & Breakout Sessions – Main Conference
Presentations should focus on the interests of administrators, surgeons, anesthesiologists, medical directors, administrative professionals, nurse clinical and administrative professionals and other clinical and ASC management in the following formats:
- Breakout Sessions: 60 minutes with one or two presenters
- General Sessions: 60 to 110 minutes with one or two presenters or up to 3 panelists
Suggested topics
Clinical issues, medication safety, GI/endoscopy, pain management, infection control.
Medicare Conditions of Coverage, regulatory issues, accreditation, Life Safety Code, peer review.
Contracting, health insurance, Medicare reimbursement, billing issues, benchmarking, performance improvement.
Conflict resolution, nurse/MD relationships, labor law and HR, physician credentials.
EHR, future technology, AI.

Administrative Mastery Series - Virtual Format
About the CASA Administrative Mastery Series
This monthly educational program is designed specifically for ASC administrators, executive leaders, and management teams who are committed to strengthening their leadership skills and advancing organizational performance.
We welcome presentations that provide real-world insights, case studies, best practices, innovative approaches, and tools that attendees can immediately apply within their organizations.
We seek experienced and engaging speakers to share practical knowledge, proven strategies, and actionable solutions for ambulatory surgery center leaders.
