The Eastern Communication Association, founded in 1910 and the oldest professional communication association in the United States, invites you to the 118th Annual Convention, March 30-April 4, 2027, in Reston, Virginia.
Reston sits just minutes from Washington, D.C., a city built on the power of communication – from the halls of Congress to the newsrooms and think tanks that shape public discourse every day. It's a fitting backdrop for scholars and students who study how people connect, persuade, and understand one another. Between sessions, you'll find the walkable Reston Town Center, easy Metro access, and the early Spring blooming of the Cherry Blossoms all around Northern Virginia.
