| Jobdescription | Part-Time Board Operator/Producer (Nights and Weekends) KLMJ/KQCR-FM in Hampton is looking for our next great radio star. If you have a passion for the industry, and are interested in getting a great start, give us a call! We have an immediate opening for part-time work, which could also be designated as an internship. The position and experience could also set up for full-time in the future. Daily responsibilities include: producing local content, reading sportscasts and updating local scorecard, operating the board and engaging with other on-air personnel, acting as board-operator for remotes and sporting events, staying in tune with local weather and news, updating the station website with timely information, production and editing of commercial spots, and much more. The Position will generally be nights and weekends, but could grow into more time and responsibilities. We are a small business through and through, and this position will allow an individual to accumulate a great amount of experience in the industry, whether it be in news, weather, sports, or production.
