What We Need:Director of Spoken Word
Some of the most well-known call letters in the United States, not to mention a 13-time Marconi Award radio station – W H O – AM (News Talk) and some of the most influential sports call letters in Central Iowa – K X N O – FM (Sports Talk) as well as 1430 KASI-AM is seeking a Director of Spoken Word. You will live in one of the Top 10 best cities (Des Moines, IA.) in America and be able to navigate your passion and create success that will be a direct reflection of you. Are you an expert at Talent Coaching, Teaching, and Training a team? An idea starter, promotionally minded, and event coordinator? An On-Air Talk Show Host? Organized, Efficient, and Proficient in social media execution. Skill set including NexGen, Promo suite, Aptivada and all Microsoft tools? If all those things are on your resume and you have a proven track record with a minimum of 5 years in the News Talk or Sports Talk radio arena (5 years of experience is non-negotiable), let’s talk. What You'll Do:
Operations of WHO-AM, KXNO-FM and 1430 KASI-AM.
Talent Coaching, Teaching, and Training a team.
What You'll Need:
Organized, Efficient, and Proficient in social media execution.
Skill set including NexGen, Promo suite, Aptivada and all Microsoft tools
Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years in the News Talk or Sports Talk radio arena
