How to Process Your ICHP Credit

I. REGISTER with NABP and CPE Monitor
All pharmacists and pharmacy technicians need an NABP eProfile ID number, set up with the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy's CPE Monitor database. CPE Monitor is the national database for ALL ACPE accredited continuing pharmacy education. CPE Monitor is also the ONLY database that provids official transcripts of all your earned credit.

As an ACPE accredited provider, ICHP uploads all your earned credit to your CPE Monitor account as part of the credit process - through our automated upload process with CESally.com and PharmacyTech Topics.com, as well as manually for special non-member state-required CE program credit.

1. Register for your CPE Monitor eProfile ID before you begin the process of claiming continuing pharmacy education credit.It is free to register!
2. Make a note of your NABP eProfile ID number. You will need your NABP eProfile ID and your birthdate as MMDD, to claim credit for any CE program you participate in, anywhere in the country.  
3. Go to your CPE Monitor account at any time to download an official transcript, and to confirm credits competed.

* Please note: your NABP eProfile ID number is NOT the same as your Board of Pharmacy number. Do NOT confuse the two.

II. LINK Your CESally account with FREE ICHP member only On Demand CE.
ICHP currently uses CESally.com as the credit process site for most of our accredited CE programming. Below are the steps to create your own account (free) on CESally.com. Additional visual guides on process credit for both On Demand CE and Live  programming are linked at the end of these instructions.

1. CREATE an account on CESally.com.
* You will need your NABP eProfile ID and birthdate information
* Go to CESally.com and “Sign Up!” to create an account.
***Important! You must enter your NABP eProfile ID & birthdate as MMDD to set up your account and get credit.
* Make note of the user name and password you use to set up your account.

OR - If you already have an account on CESally.com, log in.

You MUST log in to your CESally.com account BEFORE you can LINK to ICHP and access any of the ICHP member ONLY activities on CESally.com, including On Demand CE.

2. LINK your CESally account with ICHP.
You will only have to perform these steps once to link your CESally account to ICHP.
Once linked you will have access to all ICHP Members' Only programming on CESally.com by typing in the program title in the
Search Box. Always include Home Study in the title search - as some programs were originally LIVE webinars recorded for later On Demand home study access.

To request linking your CESally account to ICHP Members’ only programs:
• Log in to your CE Sally account.
• Click on Your Account
• Click on Professional Associations (right hand column)
• Click See all Associations
• Under ICHP, click Contact
• Fill out the Contact Association form and select “I’m a member of ICHP but can’t access your CEs”, add a message, and
click send.
• An email will be sent to ICHP. After we receive your contact request, we will confirm your membership and grant access to
all the ICHP programs.
Once Linked to ICHP on CESally, you may enter any of the ICHP home study program titles into the search box and they will pop up.

Reminder - If you do not LINK your CESally account with ICHP, you will NOT see any ICHP Members' Only On Demand CE when you search on CESally.

III. VIEW, Take a TEST, and EVALUATE

1.Watch the specific video or read the article you have selected
Links to CE content are provided in the CESally activity description or as part of the activity description of the various On Demand programs available on this website.

2. Log in to CESally account, search and select your sessions and complete activity directions for credit

• ADD the selected program(s) to your To Do List (after viewing / reading the materials).
• Go to your To-do List and Start the To Do List to begin the process. If you ADD multiple programs to your To Do List, and you Start the To Do List, without selecting just one of the programs in your List, then you will need to complete ALL the programs for each step before being allowed to go to the next step in the process.
• You will then return to CESally and go to the next step, which for HOME STUDY will be to complete successfully a post-test (the
number of correct answers needed to pass will be in the activity description), to prove you viewed / read the materials.

*** Please note - for a LIVE in person activity, you will receive an access code to enter on CESally.com, as part of the process to prove attendance, rather than a post-test. The codes are announced to the attendees at the live program. This includes affiliate member programs as well as ICHP conferences such as the Annual Meeting.

• You will then complete the activity evaluation and submit.
• Remember to REPORT & SUBMIT CE – once completed, you will see a submission confirmation message.
• Completed and successfully submitted CE activities will be automatically sent to CPE Monitor.

3.Download your official transcript of CE credit from your CPE Monitor account.

V. Notes for NON-Members:

* NON-Members who attend ICHP LIVE programs that are available to all for a fee (such as at the ICHP Annual Meeting) will process the credit the same way as noted above, using an access code given out at the live meeting. See the above LIVE Visual Guide.

* NON-Members who complete state required on demand CE will complete the credit process through the online payment form on ICHPnet.org - and it will include a post-test, evaluation and payment function. Information is available on the state required CE information windows under the State Required tab.
