METEOROLOGIST
WBOC TV (Salisbury, MD) is looking to hire an experienced meteorologist to join our team.
This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate must have minimum five years weather reporting experience and display a proven track record of success.
We are looking for someone who has a great on-air presence and can make accurate weather forecasts along the coast of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. The successful candidate will also make compelling graphics utilizing The Weather Company Max software applications.
Producing digital content for the station website, mobile apps and social media pages is also required.
Other Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology or related degree.
- CBM/AMS Seal of Approval strongly desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be engaged on all digital platforms.
- Meets strict deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
