Digital Client Specialist

WBAL-TV, WBAL-AM and 98 Rock are searching for a Digital Client Specialist. As a Digital Client Specialist, you will be responsible for working with Account Executives and their clients to ensure successful digital advertising campaigns. We are looking for candidates who can provide superior customer service to our clients and sales representatives. Specifically, you will work with the sales force on processing digital advertising contracts, obtaining creative materials and overseeing successful digital campaign execution. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented team player with exceptional written and verbal skills. The ideal candidate can prioritize efficiently and manage time effectively. A positive attitude and professional demeanor are essential along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity in a growing segment of our organization.

 Responsibilities Include:

  1. Campaign management and sales revenue analysis
  2. Build, traffic, and schedule digital advertising campaigns
  3. Proactively monitor, analyze, and optimize all digital advertising performance from creating insertion order to post completion.
  4. Effectively communicate with internal teams (sales, production, finance) and external clients on performance and delivery of commitments
  5. Provide troubleshooting assistance for creative and operations-related issues for all campaigns.
  6. Work directly with clients and sales team to provide detailed client service and execute integrated marketing plans.
  7. Prepare strategic PowerPoint proposals based on customer needs.
  8. Develop creative concepts for digital campaigns and communicate effectively to creative teams.

 Key Requirements:

  1. Online advertising trafficking, sales coordinator/planner, or related experience
  2. Experience with web technologies (HTML 5, Flash, JavaScript)
  3. Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager (DFP), Google Analytics and comScore 
  4. Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  5. Experience with programmatic and/or social media advertising a plus
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  7. Strong focus on teamwork and self-starter
  8. Extreme attention to detail and time management skills
  9. Desire to provide exceptional customer service and exceed client expectations.

Work Location

  1. In Office (This role is not eligible for Hybrid or Remote work)
