The anticipated starting salary range for Washington, DC based individuals expressing interest in this position is $63,000.00/Yr. - $70,000.00/Yr. 

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage daily expectations of on-air hosts and programming strategy
  • Generate topics/content that drive conversations and listenership
  • Cultivate relationships with local teams, PR staff and executives
  • Book big-name music guests and community guests
  • Create local buzz
  • Build the show’s social brand
  • Set an example for your peers 
  • Exceed traditional expectations 
  • Coordinate daily with promotions regarding contesting
  • Create compelling daily promos

Required & Preferred:

  • Degree in radio/communications preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience producing an ensemble radio show
  • Organizational skills
  • Manage multiple duties daily
  • Working with multiple people from different departments
  •  Punctual
  • Able to meet deadlines
