98 Rock (WIYY-FM) in Baltimore has a rare full time opening for an entertainer with a proven track record of creating compelling content for both on-air and digital platforms. We are looking for someone who can do more than announce song titles and read liners ??? we need a CREATIVE, dynamic personality that can fit in alongside the rest of our powerful on-air lineup (100% local)! 98 Rock is a heritage station- 45 years in the same format with the same owner- offering excellent benefits and work environment. We are also the flagship station for both the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles.

Job Responsibilities:                                                

•    Host daily on-air show, Monday-Friday 7pm-Midnight
•    Daily show prep

•    Daily blog and social media posts
•    Commercial production
•    Attend station events and promotions
•    Attend staff meetings and one-on-one air-check meetings

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years on-air and production experience

Qualifications Requirements:                                             

• Voracious interest in pop culture trends in general, and sports and rock music in particular
• Demonstrated social media skills
• Ability to communicate creatively and concisely, execute a format, and take direction.
