In Memoriam - Wil van Dinter

Local public health has lost a great nurse and advocate for health this past week. Wil van Dinter passed away on Tuesday June 4, 2024, at his home with family by his side. Wil was a great friend and mentor to many who joined the public health workforce over the years. Wil spent over nine years as the public health nurse in Watertown and he served on many boards and committees including Region 4AB Executive Team. He also received the Watertown’s Youth Coalition Community Spirit Award for his excellent work in youth mentoring and programs. Wil will be greatly missed. MAPHN will be sending his family a remembrance and we invite all who would like to contribute to the e-card to do so HERE. There will be no services formally provided per Wil’s request.
