Spring & Summer 2025 Hybrid Food Inspector Training Courses
Five Sessions with 24 Hours of Total Learning Time
Massachusetts Local Public Health Training Program
Boston University will be providing two Tier 2 Training Opportunities
This training is designed for or intended for local public health professionals and is related to 105 CMR 590.000 and the 2013 FDA Model Food Code and Supplements.
Tier 2 Spring 2025 Hybrid Food Course
Virtual Dates & Time: (4 hrs/each) April 8th, 9th, and 10th at 8:30am-12:30pm
In Person Dates & Time: (6 hrs + Lunch) April 16th and 17th at 8:00am-3:30pm
Venue: Franklin Regional Council of Governments (12 Olive St., Suite 2, Greenfield, MA 01301)
Tier 2 Summer 2025 Hybrid Food Course
Virtual Dates & Time: (4 hrs/each) June 3rd, 4th, and 5th at 8:30am-12:30pm
In Person Date & Time: (6 hrs + Lunch) June 11th and 12th at 8:00am-3:30pm
Venue: Department of Fire Services - Stow (1 State Road, Stow, MA 01775)

What Is Massachusetts Local Public Health Training Program?
A collaboration between The Office of Local and Regional Health, Boston University, and The Hub Training Program. The Local Public Health Training Program is designed to prepare the local public health workforce for the needs of their communities. It is a 3-tiered approach which includes self-paced courses (Tier 1), instructor-led courses (Tier 2), and applied practice: Training Hub Program (Tier 3). MA Local Public Health Training Courses are developed by
The Massachusetts Health Officers Association, the Massachusetts Environmental Health Association, the Massachusetts Association of Health Boards, and the Massachusetts Association of Public Health Nurses, led by the Boston University School of Public Health and funded by the MDPH Office of Local and Regional Health. These food and housing courses will continue to be offered to local health professionals regularly, and additional courses including wastewater, recreational camps, pools, and more to follow.
