Start your public health career with confidence through the New to Public Health (N2PH) Residency Program. N2PH is an evidence-based, nationally recognized program designed to empower new public health professionals. N2PH strengthens the skills, confidence, and connections new hires need to thrive in their roles and build meaningful, long-term careers.
The program consists of:
- An online learning course with foundational areas and capabilities essential to public health practice, offering up to 77 continuing education units.
- A community of practice with monthly synchronous discussions, fostering peer relationships, reducing isolation, and building trust within the cohort.
- Mentor support through personalized matching with an experienced public health professional based on the resident’s interests.
- Completion of an evidence-based project, focusing on leadership, research, and critical thinking skills.
85% of N2PH Alumni reported an improvement in their confidence after completing the N2PH Residency Program.
