MAHB's 2026 Certificate Programs for Boards of Health and Health Department Staff are right around the corner! They are at the Delaney House in Holyoke on Saturday, March 14th, Hotel 1620 in Plymouth on Saturday March 21st, the Marriott Courtyard in Marlborough on Saturday, April 11th, and the DoubleTree Hotel in Danvers on Saturday, May 2nd. They run from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm and include a full breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Topics include legal authority, public health law updates, updates from the Department of Public Health, open meeting, public records and conflict of interest laws. We will also review current concerns including Battery Energy Storage Systems, Social Consumption Establishments, Kratom and possible local options. The registration link is at www.mahb.org.
