Parliamentary procedure can do more than just put you to sleep, though – when a tense and contested situation occurs, knowing Robert’s Rules of Order and the state laws applicable to conducting a public hearing is crucial to put you and your Board of Health in the best position for success. Join us for a presentation on Robert’s Rules of Order and how to conduct a public hearing. The session will also cover the portions of the Open Meeting Law applicable to public hearings. The session will conclude with a live question-and-answer session for attendees to ask any questions they have on these topics.
