As your department makes plans to permit vendors for summer and fall festivals, just a reminder that only permanent, non-mobile locations are eligible to apply for a tobacco permit and sell tobacco products. Some local regulations also specify that the retailer must be in an indoor setting. This applies to rolling smoking lounges, rolling cigar stores,and tents selling tobacco products.
