CERTA & HAWT Training Opportunities
Training Formats
CERTA & HAWT Live Training2-Day In-Person Program This two-day training offers both CERTA (Certified Roofing Torch Applicator) and HAWT (Hot Air and Induction Welding Safety Training) certifications. Participants receive classroom instruction covering safe practices for roofing torches, hot air welders, and induction welding equipment; with hands‑on practical exercises included for the CERTA portion of the training. The training will also cover hazard recognition, fire prevention, equipment safety, OSHA compliance, and safe roofing application techniques to help workers reduce risk and strengthen overall jobsite safety.
CERTA: $375 per person |
HAWT Online Training2-Hour Virtual Course This convenient online training program provides workers with the essential safety knowledge required to safely operate hot air and induction welding equipment used in roofing applications. Available in both English and Spanish, the course covers hazard identification, electrical safety, fire prevention, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe work practices. Upon successful completion, participants earn HAWT certification and gain the knowledge needed to work safely and confidently in the field.

OSHA 10-Hour & HAWT Online Training2-Day Combination Program This two-day program combines OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety training with HAWT certification. Participants learn key OSHA safety requirements, hazard awareness, fall protection, PPE, and jobsite safety, while also completing specialized HAWT training focused on hot air and induction welding operations. Upon completion, participants receive both OSHA 10-Hour and HAWT certifications, making this an ideal option for roofing professionals seeking comprehensive safety credentials.
