NCPMA Leadership Development Academy Begins Second Class
Program designed to encourage and foster the next generation of leadership
The North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) began its second Leadership Development Academy class Nov. 6-8, 2024. The program is designed to help encourage and foster the next generation of industry and association leaders and kicked off its new class in Charlotte.
The NCPMA Leadership Development Academy began in 2022 and is an innovative three-part development program which will provide participants with a fresh take on leadership skills and strategies that can be immediately put to practical use in any business or personal setting.
The new class kicked off in Charlotte with sessions about Organization Leadership. Two more courses about Personal & Team Leadership and the Implementation Toolbox will be held in Wilmington and Raleigh respectively as the class completes the program. They will graduate in November 2025.
The program is customized to the pest management industry and provides participants with training developed specifically to match the unique skill set of pest management professionals. The program is Chaired by previous Leadership Development Academy graduates Margie Alsbury of Manning’s Pest Control and Raylene Galloway of Pisgah Pest Control.
