OAMES Executive Director Named Van Miller Homecare Champion at Medtrade

Kam Yuricich was recognized as the American Association for Homecare’s 2023 Van  Miller Homecare Champion at last week’s Medtrade show in Dallas.  She was honored for her outstanding achievements as the Executive Director for two significant HME organizations, the Ohio Association of Medical Equipment Services and the Great Lakes Home Medical Equipment Association (Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan).  Ms. Yuricich also served as Chair of AAHomecare’s State Leaders Council for several years.   

“Kam is a star and a stalwart for HME,” notes Tom Ryan, AAHomecare president & CEO. “She’s brought home bottom-line wins for her members and she’s also made important contributions that resonate across the industry.  Kam’s earned a lot of respect in the HME community, and I’m excited that we are formally recognizing her success and service to this industry.” 

Kam shared “I’m incredibly honored and humbled to receive this award.  The HME community is blessed with smart, tenacious individuals devoted to their staff and homecare patients in their communities.  I’m extremely grateful to have made life-long friends as fellow advocates for this extraordinary healthcare industry.” 

OAMES past president Missy Cross and board member Cara Bachenheimer were past recipients of the award in 2016 and 2014 respectively.
