Rising Costs? Reminder to Participate in National Surveys

Survey Closes this Friday, April 14!

A nationwide survey effort is underway by the American Association for Homecare to capture the real-world market impact on the disposable supplies space, including costs of products, shipping, and labor. Insights from the survey/surveys will be used in advocacy efforts to help payers understand the need for sustainable reimbursement to preserve the HME infrastructure and ensure end user access.

We encourage Ohio's HME companies who provide the following product categories to take the respective survey(s).  The results will be very helpful with on-going payer discussions including policy work with the Ohio Department of Medicaid:

• Enteral Survey: Enteral nutrition, pumps, kits, and/or supplies
• Supplies Survey: Woundcare, ostomy, and/or urological supplies

The survey deadline is Friday, April 14, 2023.  Individual company responses will be confidential, and data will only be shared in aggregate with the overall nationwide survey findings. If you have questions or need additional information on the survey, please contact Ashley Plauché, AAHomecare’s Director of Member & Public Relations, at ashleyp@aahomecare.org.
