DME Comprises 1.5% of Medicare Spend, Offering Patient-Preferred & Cost-Effective Care to Millions

CMS released its 2022 Medicare expenditures data with DME comprising 1.5% of the total budget.  Over the last twenty years, DME has grown at a slower rate than overall Medicare spend; the Medicare Spending Chart visually illustrates how DME expenditures have remained relatively flat-lined compared to higher categories like drugs, hospitals, and physicians.
