OLA Names Sheila Fox Managing Director
The Ohio Lobbying Association is pleased to announce that Sheila Fox has been named Managing Director of the Association. She began her duties on August 29th.
Sheila is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the OLA, including communicating with members and member services, financial management, event planning, OLA publications, and other OLA-related duties.
Sheila has a long history of association management and event planning. She has run her own business, Event In Site, LLC for the past nine years. Event In Site specializes helping non-profit, association and small business clients with their events and business operations. Prior to launching Event In Site, Sheila spent five years as Director of Meetings and Membership at the Ohio Cable Telecommunications Association.
“We are pleased to have Sheila come on board for the OLA. A number of the Board members have worked with her in the past in other capacities, so I am confident she has the right personality for our members and the right set of organizational skills to help us continue moving the association forward, ” said OLA President Mike Carroll.
