Membership/Marketing Coordinator
Association for Middle Level Education | Fully remote (WFH)
Position Summary:
The Association for Middle Level Education is seeking a Membership/marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for developing and facilitating membership growth, engagement, programs, processes and membership retention.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Facilitate new member processing, onboarding, and engagement
- Develop and execute monthly membership recruitment campaigns
- Maintain and update membership database
- Maintain and update membership tracking tools for renewal and payments
- Address any member needs with excellent customer service
- Collaborate on the creation and execution of strategies for print and digital communications
- Administer membership renewal process including invoicing, phone calls, faxing, emails and record maintenance
- Coordinate and participate in various events (Annual Conference, workshops, etc.) as requested
- Support membership marketing initiatives to ensure they are timely, implemented and executed effectively
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, associate degree required
- Education and experience in communications, marketing, sales or business
- 3-5 years’ work experience in membership or client service job
- Association experience preferred
- Professional writing, communications and editing experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly motivated to service and increase membership
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail-minded; able to take direction and work independently
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required. Working knowledge of association management and email broadcast systems a plus
- Solid understanding and ability to navigate social media channels including Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram
This position is fully remote. AMLE offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a benefits stipend.
The position reports to the chief operating officer (COO).
