Ohio Tax-free Weekend 2024 Extended to 10 Days

Ohio’s 2024 sales tax holiday has been extended to 10 days.

Governor Mike DeWine announced on Friday that he extended the annual sales tax holiday for 2024. It will start at midnight on July 30 and last until 11:59 p.m. on August 8.

The state’s sales tax holiday, which began in 2019, lasted three days and took place on the first Friday, Saturday and Sunday of August each year. School supplies, school instruction materials up to $20 and clothes up to $75 were eligible for tax-free purchases.
