New Biden Ad Seeks to Turn the Debate Conversation to Trump

The spot features clips of Trump lying during the debate

An ad released Monday by President Joe Biden’s campaign seeks to turn the conversation about last week’s debate to former president Donald Trump.

The 60-second spot features clips of Trump from Thursday’s event in Atlanta and Biden speaking the following day in Raleigh, N.C., about Trump’s falsehoods during the debate.

The ad debuted as Biden and his allies continued to reach out to concerned fellow Democrats and nervous donors in the aftermath of his halting performance last week in which he sometimes appeared to lose his train of thought.
