Complimentary Ask the Regulators: Bank-Fintech Arrangements

On Tuesday, September 24, from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. Central / 2:00-3:00 p.m. Eastern, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Board), and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) (the agencies) will conduct an Ask the Regulators webinar to discuss the following:
- Joint Statement on Banks’ Arrangements with Third Parties to Deliver Bank Deposit Products and Services issued on July 25, 2024
- Request for Information on Bank-Fintech Arrangements Involving Banking Products and Services Distributed to Consumers and Businesses published in the Federal Register on July 31, 2024
During the webinar, staff of the agencies will share information on potential risks of bank arrangements with third parties (including fintechs), discuss examples of effective risk management practices, and highlight relevant existing requirements and supervisory expectations. In addition, they will highlight the specific areas of questions noted in the request for information.
The webinar will include a Q&A session. Participants must submit questions in advance via email at asktheregulators@stls.frb.org. Panelists will give priority to questions received by Tuesday, September 17.
