Action to Improve Profits

I have been concerned for the last year and a half that coming out of the recession (which supposedly happened several years ago) profits have not recovered along with sales.  Based upon the financial benchmarking work that we do throughout distribution, this is proving to be an on-going challenge.  It is not an inconsequential issue.

The article reflects upon some of the drivers behind this situation.  It also provides some suggestions for action.  It is something your members need to note very carefully.  Sales without profits is a frightening thought.
