As the Area Medical Director, you will be responsible for applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of medicine to supervise physicians who provide primary patient care. Essential duties include:
• Provide leadership, direction and professional medical judgment to physicians and physician's assistants.
• Provide primary patient care, as needed, for first injuries for associates of those clients who require physician-only treatment of all first injuries.
• Work closely with Administrator to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care.
• Cooperate with management to ensure accomplishment of all center objectives.
• Evaluate medical procedures and everyday situations and suggest ways to improve delivery of service and profitability.
Requirements: Candidates must be an MD or DO currently licensed to practice in Ohio. Previous experience in Industrial Medicine is also required.
