Vice President for Mission Advancement
The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (LTSP)
LTSP is seeking an experienced leader with demonstrated success in planning innovative and successful fundraising strategies, cultivating major donors, making compelling requests for contributions, and closing on major gift proposals to fill the position of Vice President for Mission Advancement.
The VP for Mission Advancement leads a dedicated multidisciplinary team charged with defining and achieving an ambitious and innovative results-based strategy for the seminary’s fundraising efforts, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with board members, alumni, constituents, and donors.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the seminary’s annual appeal, major gift solicitation, and planned giving strategy as well as directing capital appeals, and will partner with LTSP President David Lose to develop and execute fundraising strategies and implement comprehensive strategic planning to advance the seminary’s mission.
