Baptism! It's the theme for the 2015 Southern Ohio Synod Assembly!

To help celebrate this sacrament that stands at the heart of our faith and Lutheran identity, we are seeking digital, high quality photos of YOUR congregation's baptismal font or baptistery that will be shown on the big screen at various times throughout assembly.

Be creative! Be artistic! Be traditional! However you choose to approach this project, use it as an opportunity to share a picture of where new Christians enter into the life of your congregation!

Due to privacy and security issues, please do not send pictures of any individuals being baptized, whether children or adults. You may, however, include people in the photo if it consists of the entire (or most of) congregation assembled for worship.

Only digital photos will be accepted. Please assure the photos are good quality, high resolution (i.e. 1500 X 2100 pixels or greater) so that they will display well on the assembly screen. Acceptable file formats are jpeg, eps, tiff or pdf.

Photos must be received by May 27, 2015.
