Invitation to Attend a Faith Summit on Faith, Community, Health & Wellness Oct 29
Members of the Southern Ohio Synod are invited to attend a Faith Summit co-sponsored by the Ohio Council of Churches on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Lincoln Theatre, 769 East Long Street, Columbus.
The program will focus on the role of the faith community in health and wellness and the need to expand helathcare coverage. The day's program will consist of a historical overview of health disparities, two panel presentations (one focused on health in the community & the other on statewide & local coverage/outreach strategies).
The program will conclude with a presentation from Dr. Thurman Evans, MD, Ph.D. and CEO of Whole Life Associates.
