ADAA/DANB Scholarship Now Accepting Applications

The American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA) and the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) are now accepting applications for the ADAA/DANB Scholarship. Since 2013, this scholarship has provided dental assistants with the opportunity to achieve their professional development goals.

The scholarship will be awarded to dental assistants who demonstrate a strong commitment to career growth and lifelong learning. Scholarship recipients will be able to use the scholarship funds for professional activities, such as continuing dental education, DANB exams or certification, expenses associated with ADAA Fellowship or Mastership, or registration for a dental conference, among other possible activities.

Purpose: The ADAA/DANB Scholarship was established to help aspiring and current dental assistants turn their dental assisting professional development plans into reality. The scholarship is open to ADAA Student Members and Professional Members. The ADAA/DANB Scholarship Committee will select at least one scholarship recipient each year in each category. Scholarship recipients will each receive between $250 and $1,000. The committee will determine the amount awarded to each recipient.

Applications will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. Central Time on October 2, 2023, and the recipients will be announced in December 2023.
