|Since 1980, County Corp Affordable Housing has been helping area residents improve their homes and work with local businesses to help them expand. As a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation, County Corp works hard to make a difference in the Dayton area.
County Corp was created by Montgomery County to do development work outside of the scope of their community development office. All of their housing projects benefit low- to middle- income residents, with some focused on veterans, disabled, elderly, or at-risk youth.
One of their favorite things about being a member of the Home Builders Association is participating in Homearama in order to educate the public on affordable housing and gain constructive feedback from the people who walk through their homes.
They have been in business for 34 years, and are a family-owned and operated major appliance distributor. They have showrooms in Fairfield, Dayton, and Columbus Ohio that feature over 60 major kitchen and laundry brands, and work with a variety of local and national charities including St. Jude Dream Home.
For them becoming a member of the Home Builders Associaton was a natural step since most of their business is rooted in the new-home building and remodeling industries. Many of their business accounts are long-time HBA members.
In 2018, they were nominated as of the top 75 Family and Private-Owned companies by the Goering Center, and they recently celebrated their 25-year accreditation with the Better Business Bureau!
