Employee Spotlight:

Lana Glore, REHS,

Director of Environmental Health at the Wood County Health Department

 Lana Glore

Lana Glore, REHS, Director of Environmental Health at the Wood County Health Department, is heading towards a well-earned retirement! She has spent her career protecting the public health of Northwest Ohio through food safety, water quality, pools, campgrounds, and just about everything in between. Lana has led our team through challenges with confidence, celebrated successes with pride, and mentored so many others along the way. While we will certainly miss her knowledge, presence, and sense of humor, we are incredibly grateful for the impact she has made and the foundation she has built. Northwest Ohio is healthier, safer, and stronger because of her dedication and service.

Environmental Health Team

On behalf of OEHA, we would like to thank Lana for her many years of dedicated service to our region. Her passion for Environmental Health has made a lasting impact, and our profession is stronger because of her steadfast commitment over the years. She has been a fierce advocate, a steady leader, and a generous mentor, always investing her time and energy into making those around her better. The many mentees who have grown into leadership roles across the region are a true testament to the impact she has had. Lana’s influence will be felt for years to come, and while she will be greatly missed, we are so excited for her as she begins this well-deserved new chapter. We wish her a retirement filled with joy, rest, and everything she loves most.
