Barbara Kemmis, CAE
Barbara Kemmis has served as Executive Director of the Cremation Association of North America (CANA) since 2011. Barbara has over 25 years of experience in developing and marketing member benefits, providing leadership in professional associations, fundraising and creating professional development opportunities.
Before joining CANA, she served as Director of Member Services at the American Theological Library Association and Vice President of Library and Nonprofit Services at the Donors Forum, both in Chicago, Illinois.
Barbara earned a master’s degree in library science from Dominican University, a graduate certificate in nonprofit management from North Park University and a B.A. from Earlham College.
