Coach Hamric has been the head coach at Hamilton Township, Caledonia, and Mt. Pleasant High Schools. He has been a head coach for thirty-two years and has won 411 games.

Coach Hamric was Vice-President of the Central Baseball District Association. He was Metro League Coach Of The Year in 1970, 1971, 1976, and 1977. He was also All-Ohio Series Coach in 1981.
