Assistant to the President/CEO

Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio, one of the largest non-profit agencies in central Ohio, has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-starter to serve as Assistant to the President/CEO.

This position will support the President/CEO in the following manner:

• Act as a liaison and provide staff support to the Board of Directors including maintaining board records/minutes, managing board orientation materials; and coordinating board meetings and events;

• Enhance, manage, develop, and/or maintain agency wide systems including the electronic Board Portal, the agency-wide Dashboard system; and special geo-mapping programs

• Assist President/CEO in development/maintenance of strategic and operational plans

• Provide staff support to the corporate compliance committee

• Provide general administrative support for the President/CEO including maintaining files/records, managing calendar/planner; coordinating travel arrangements, and assisting with budget preparation.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field and at least 5 years’ experience in a high level administrative/executive support position. The candidate should have excellent critical thinking skills, strong computer and analytical skills, and superior relationship skills. Must be able to receive assignments and be able to follow through with little to no supervision. Must have strong, self-driven, work ethic.
