Job Posting: Ascension Lutheran Church

Keyboardist

Duties:

• Accompany music on piano and/or organ for worship;

• Accompany chancel choir at Wednesday evening practices and Sunday morning worship;

• Accompany music for non-Sunday worship services: Christmas Eve, Wednesday mid-week worship in Lent, weddings, funerals, and other worship events;

• Be available to practice music with the pastor and Director of Music Ministries in preparation for worship;

• Accompany other musicians such as soloists, ensembles, bell choir and contracted musicians, and be available to practice with them;

• Select and play appropriate music for preludes, music during communion, and postludes.
