Keynote Presenter: Rev. Brent Dahlseng

Brent Dahlseng has served as the senior pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Loves Park since the fall of 2006. Pr. Dahlseng served on the education and evangelism team of the churchwide offices (1999- 2006); developed a mission congregation in Fulton, NY (1986-1999); and began his ministry in rural Moody Co. in SD (1982-1986). He has his BA in history from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN (1978) and his MDIV from Luther-Northwestern Seminary in St. Paul, MN (1982). Brent is the author of “Grounded in Prayer: A Small Group Training Guide in Congregational Prayer.” His wife, Jody, retired in 2017 as principal in Belvidere, IL. They have four grown children and nine grandchildren.

Bible Study Presenter: Rachel Wrenn

Rachel Wrenn is a Ph.D. candidate in Old Testament at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Until August 2016, she was engaged in small town and rural pastoral ministry in Southwest Minnesota. She is a 2011 graduate of Luther Seminary. Publications include "It's the Same, but Different," in Word & World (Fall 2016) as well as Bible studies from the Augsburg Fortress "People of Faith" series (Sarah, Rachel, Elijah, Mary, and Joseph). In addition she is a contributing scholar/exegete for Working Preacher. She is blessed with a fun and beautiful family.
