We thank the Lord for you and for the work He is doing in our Church, thru You!

Our Biennial Convention is 3 weeks  away. We anticipate your arrival at the  Program, on Saturday, 14 October, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

Program Details:

Daring Women of the Reformation:

o    Dr. Schroeder is the Bergener Professor of Theology & Religion with Capital University, Church History

o   Our National Representative at this year’s Biennial is   Ms. Jackie Wilson,  from the  Arkansas/Oklahoma Synod.

· Business Session

· Worship Service

Reminder: In-kind Gifts for Restore and Renew Bags for women at the local abuse shelter  and Human Trafficking Shelter in Columbus vicinity. (The list of items needed is found in the Summer Biennial News Letter or contact your Conference Representative.

Celebration Initiative:  Each woman in your congregation affirmation of the 500 year of the Reformation, $5.00 donation to the ELCA (3/4 of the donation returns to each conference for outreach to your local community.  

Details:  Each Conference has been provided a gift box (which should be decorated by the women of that group)

Gift Box (with $5.00 each women donation) will be presented to the Biennial (at a point in the program) for blessing. 

Collection will be submitted to the Treasurer of the WELCA Board and monies disbursed to Synod Office, Churchwide and each SYNOD conference
