People of New York City regarding the recent terrorist attack that claimed 8 lives

Lord, may your presence and peace be with all of those affected by the recent terrorist attack in New York City that claimed the lives of eight innocent people. We do not understand why these acts of violence happen, but we do know that you are ever-present and always at work to bring all people to you. May we, your ambassadors, never grow weary of the mission you have given us; to share the Gospel and love our neighbor.

May those who mourn be comforted.
