'Countering the Language of Violence' training series from Faith in Public Life

On January 23rd, Faith in Public Life is rolling out a new and important training series in Ohio called "Countering the Language of Violence." It's unlike anything we've done before. In partnership with a nationally renowned expert in genocide prevention, Rachel Brown, we’ve developed a program that equips faith communities to recognize and respond to the warning signs that precede religiously or ethnically targeted acts of mass violence. I hope you'll join us.

Faith leaders are uniquely equipped to prevent the language of violence from escalating into attacks like we saw in Charlottesville, and we can keep already explosive situations from spiraling out of control. Please join our first training on this crucial issue.

WHEN: January 23rd, training from 2:30 to 5:30pm, dinner from 5:30 to 7 (including kosher, halal and vegetarian options)

WHERE: Vineyard Columbus, 6000 Cooper Rd., Westerville, OH 43081
