Volunteers needed to assist with registration at Synod Assembly
Your assistance is needed on Friday, June 1 and/or Saturday, June 2 with the registration check-in process for our synod assembly.
Registration begins at 7:30 am both days, so we'll need folks at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center by 7 am for a brief training and to get ready to welcome attendees.
We need volunteers until 12:30 pm each day, but you can work for just part of the shifts. This is a great opportunity for registered attendees to jump into a volunteer role. You can help with registration from 7 until we start the assembly so you don't miss out on any of the program.
Volunteers will be seated, so this is a good role for anyone regardless of age or physical abilities. If you can smile, hear the registrant's name when they come to the table, read the name badges and hand a name badge and voting materials to the registrants, you can do this job. Older teenagers are also welcome! This is a great opportunity to introduce our young people to the larger church.
Snacks and beverages provided, as well as our deep gratitude for helping fill this vital role.
Here are the suggested shifts:
Friday, June 1
7 am until 12:30 pm for volunteers not participating in assembly
7 am until 9:30 am for volunteers participating in assembly (voting/non-voting)
Saturday, June 2
7 am until 12:30 pm for volunteers not participating in assembly
7 am until 9:00 am for volunteers participating in assembly (voting/non-voting)
