Timeline for ELCA Hunger Grants announced

Dear partners and friends of ELCA World Hunger,

ELCA World Hunger is pleased to announce the 2019 Domestic Hunger Grant application will open soon! Beginning in June, you will be able learn more about the grants and how to apply by visiting ELCA.org/domestichungergrants.

The Domestic Hunger Grant process has been in transition this year. Based on feedback from previous applicants, our team has been revising the grant application and the webpage to make both more helpful to you, our ministry partners.

We look forward to partnering with you through:

  • A new, user-friendly online application that reflects the priorities and values of ELCA World Hunger.
  • A longer award cycle, allowing ministries to seek funding for three years through one application.
  • A shorter timeline from application to award decision.
  • A clear list of eligibility criteria and the materials you will need before you apply.

Please feel free to share this email with groups that might be interested in applying for a grant.

With gratitude for the ministry and mission we share,
