Invitation to read and review draft Inter-Religious Policy Statement

In 2016, Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton announced to the Churchwide Assembly that she had appointed a task force to develop an inter-religious policy statement. Eleven members have been working to prepare "A Declaration of Ecumenical Commitment: A Policy Statement of the ELCA," which is now available for review. 

All are invited to respond to the statement by June 30, 2018. The ELCA Church Council will determine whether to recommend the document to the 2019 Churchwide Assembly.
