Synod Lay Eucharistic Ministry Training August 27 at Gloria Dei, Cincinnati

Your ministry to the homebound is a vital link between not only your congregation and the homebound member, but also with the greater Church. When you bring communion to those who are unable to physically be present at a worship service, you bring the body and blood of Christ and all that it represents with you. You bring to life the concept of the priesthood of all believers.

To make sure this vital ministry is available to all homebound members of your congregation, the Southern Ohio Synod will host and lead another training and commissioning service for Lay Eucharistic Ministers in August. Below are the full details of the event, along with who to let know that you will be coming.

I invite as many members from your congregation who are willing to be a part of a Lay Eucharistic Ministry to join me and members of my team for a very special day of learning, sharing and sending forth in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
