'Keeping Our Focus' theme for annual Rostered Women's Retreat Oct 18-20
The annual Rostered Women's Retreat is Thursday, October 18, 2018 – October 20, 2018 at Lutheran Memorial Camp 2790 State Route 61 Fulton, OH 43321. The retreat will begin with lunch at 12:00 noon on Thursday and conclude on Saturday after our 11:00am Brunch.
The theme of the weekend is 'Keeping our Focus'. As rostered ministers we spend much of our time caring, supporting, encouraging, and equipping others. This can leave us physically, emotionally and spiritually drained. This retreat offers you a chance to refocus yourself as you spend time in God's Word, a supportive community, and God's creation. As we help you Keep your Focus we will be exploring together: Where we see God, How we experience God, How we talk with God, and How we share God with others. There will also be opportunities for group building, crafting, hikes, naps, service project on camp grounds, campfire, great meals together that you don't have to prepare, worship, and time to relax and find your focus again. During the retreat there will be an opportunity to exchange books, stoles, cleric blouses, and any other items you no longer use.
