Rostered ministers encouraged to take part in Boundaries Training at TLS Sept 28

The following message went to all Southern Ohio Synod rostered ministers. Council members are encouraged to allow your pastor or deacon to attend this one-day event. Boundaries Training benefits both the rostered minister and the congregation and is important for the overall health and life of the congregation.

Boundaries Training is required for all rostered ministers in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and should be taken at least every five years. To make it as easy as possible for our rostered ministers in our synod to meet the required training guidelines, we offer Boundaries Training opportunities through our partners, like Trinity Lutheran Seminary, in addition to our own events.

Please consider taking part in the Boundaries Training at Trinity Lutheran Seminary on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 9 am until 3 pm. The training will take place in the Alumni Room. The cost to attend is $16 per person to cover lunch. TLS is covering the cost for the trainer, Pr. Heather Apel, from the Indiana-Kentucky Synod.

To register, please contact Joyce Ponder at jponder@capital.edu or call 614.236.6612.

I'm grateful for the partnership we have with Trinity Lutheran Seminary and Capital University and hope you will take advantage of this training opportunity.

We are stronger and better together: Joining Jesus in the restoration of the world!

In Christ,

Suzanne Darcy Dillahunt

Bishop
