Sisters and brothers of the Alaska Synod affected by the recent earthquake

We continue to lift up in prayer our sisters and brothers of the Alaska Synod as they recover, rebuild and prepare for the months of aftershocks expected as a result of the recent 7.0 magnitude earthquake in the area.

No specific requests for giving have come from the Alaska Synod or the ELCA as of today. We will update this prayer request as we receive word of how and when you can give.

In the meantime, please remember all of the people of Alaska during this time of disaster and recovery. May God's presence be felt and his people light in the darkness.
