Rostered Leaders are Invited to Attend a Churchwide Assembly Review on August 25 at St. John's, Grove City

Please join Bishop Callon Holloway, Jr. on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Grove City, from 1-3 pm for a review of actions taken at the ELCA Churchwide Assembly, August 17-23, 2009 in Minneapolis.

An official summary of the assembly will be published by the ELCA and sent to all congregations and rostered leaders immediately following the churchwide gathering.

The purpose of the August 25, 2009 meeting is to briefly review the assembly, fill in the gaps from unofficial news reports, and discuss the expected impact of the assembly's actions on the ELCA and the Southern Ohio Synod.
