Mark your calendars & plan to attend benefit concert for LSS Faith Mission Homeless Shelters in Columbus

Gethsemane Lutheran Church is hosting a benefit concert Conversations in Sound, which is open to the entire community.  Synchronicity Trio (Bruce Posey, Dick Reuning, Sharon Walton) and guest artist Denise Spires will offer its annual benefit concert for Faith Mission Homeless Shelters (www.faithmissionofohio.org) on Sunday, February 24th at 4:00 pm.

The concert features classical and contemporary works by Klengel, Gershwin, Piazzolla, Gliere, Faure´ and Ohio composer Rick Sowash.  Enjoy a wide variety of music while exploring its interactive potential.  Join us for a diverse and entertaining program, some interesting musical facts, the company of good friends and a reception afterwards – all for a freewill donation for a great cause: HELPING THE HOMELESS. What could be better?

Gethsemane Lutheran is located at 35 E. Stanton Ave. Columbus  (www.gethsemane.org)

So, why does Gethsemane Lutheran Church host this fundraiser each year? Gethsemane members have served on the Faith Mission Board of Directors and Advisory Board for over 35 years.  Nancy’s Place, the women’s shelter, is named after Gethsemane member Nancy Feole who was Faith Mission Director for several years.

Come be a part of this fun and inspiring evening to help our brothers and sisters in our community without housing.
